A month ago we packed up the office in North Wales and relocated to the Isle of Man. The short version: we'd do it again tomorrow.
What actually changed
The paperwork was more boring than the internet suggests, the banks were slower, and the fibre is surprisingly good.
Work rhythm got calmer
Client meetings are still on Teams
Commute is now a ten-minute walk
The island is small enough that running a quiet software shop here feels natural. It hasn't changed what we build, just how we feel at the end of the week.
