The full reasoning is "it fits the shape of the business we want to run".
Bayr is our first public IoM project. 188+ places and attractions, live weather from the Met Office, tide tables, daily news from ManxRadio and 3FM, and integrations with Booking.com, GetYourGuide and other travel partners. Running since February 2026.
Bayr exists partly because the island deserved a guide that was honest and locally-owned. It also exists to prove that our Affiliate Engine, the platform underneath, actually works at scale for a content-driven site. That same platform can power other IoM directories - food, motorbiking, events, property - and we would happily build one with you.
Simplepage Ltd is registered on the Isle of Man and complies with IoM corporate, tax, and data-protection rules. Our privacy policy is issued under the IoM Data Protection Act 2018 and the GDPR and LED Implementing Regulations 2018. Our supervisory authority is the Isle of Man Information Commissioner.

Digital Isle of Man is the government's tech-economy programme. It supports relocating and locally-founded technology businesses, runs the annual Innovation Challenge, and introduces tech businesses to each other and to clients across the island.
