Eighteen years of Umbraco.

Umbraco is the CMS we know best and build with most. Every product we run has a part of the Umbraco ecosystem under it. Every client build we take on that suits a CMS starts on Umbraco by default.

Community and contribution.

We contribute back. William is an Umbraco Certified Master. We run internal MCP servers that automate Umbraco backoffice workflows. Blog posts and open tooling where we can.

We treat Umbraco as a platform, not just a CMS.

Most Umbraco agencies build websites. We do too, but Umbraco is also the foundation under our own products and platforms. Eddi is a NuGet-packaged AI layer that ships with the same Umbraco we build client sites on. Our Affiliate Engine is a multi-brand Umbraco 17 platform powering Bayr and future sites. Sumlo and Printo are non-Umbraco products but share hosting, deployment and observability with every Umbraco site we run.

The result: when we build a client Umbraco site, we are using infrastructure that is battle-tested on our own products first. The compositions, the block library, the MCP-driven scaffolding, the deployment pipeline - all proved on Simplepage production before they land on a client project.

v13 LTS, v17, or older?

Most new builds we start today use Umbraco 17. It is the current major release, with the latest backoffice, native Umbraco.AI, and the modern block editors. If you want the newest features and are comfortable tracking active releases, v17 is the right choice.

Umbraco 13 LTS is the right choice if long-term stability matters more than new features. It is supported until 2026-11 (security until longer, check current Umbraco HQ statement). Many enterprise clients stay on v13 LTS deliberately.

If you are on anything older than v13, it is worth a migration conversation. See our Upgrades and Migrations service for the shape of that work.

Umbraco 17 has AI built in. Do we still need Eddi?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Umbraco.AI (shipped with v17) handles single-field AI operations elegantly. Eddi handles cross-site bulk operations, conversational queries, and GEO citability scoring that Umbraco.AI does not do.

We wrote an honest comparison: Eddi vs Umbraco.AI - when to use each.

For specialist Umbraco consultancy, there is Simon Antony.

Simon Antony Ltd is a UK-registered Umbraco Silver Partner agency. Separate company, same founder as Simplepage. If your project is a dedicated Umbraco consultancy engagement - an enterprise CMS implementation, a long-term retainer with ongoing feature work, an agency white-label partnership - Simon Antony is the right fit. Their focus is Umbraco full-stop; ours is software products with Umbraco as part of the stack.

We will often recommend one or the other during discovery. It is not a sales tactic - they are genuinely different shapes of business for different shapes of client.
